Friendly service and some good Tex-Mex food. Had a great waitress who was attentive without being over bearing. All the food was nice and hot on arrival, including the tortillas. A good choice for lunch today while I was in town.
Hubby and I stopped in on the way through to Fort Worth. We were hungry, so of course, chips and salsa while we looked over the menu is one of the reasons we stopped. The chips were warm, almost hot. So good. My hubby had the Ala Mexicana, which is similar to fajitas, but the veggies consist of tomatoes, jalapenos, and onions. I had the chicken chili rellano with green sauce. Both entrees were very good. The rice was dry but delicious mixed with the green sauce from my chili rellano. The charro beans are delicious. It all was like comfort food. The service was great. Just enough attention to know we were looked after, but not enough to be bothersome. The atmosphere was too cute with the tikki style bar and the little "hut" type booths.
I still love this hidden gem and taste like my home neighborhood cooking back in Oak Cliff (Dallas).
We went here during the rush on a Friday night after a soccer game and were thoroughly impressed with the service. The food was amazing. I loved that each of us got a salsa bowl instead of having to share. I got the tres amigos enchiladas and they were all three so good, but the chicken with sour cream sauce was amazing. I thought the atmosphere would be rowdy in a college town on a Friday evening, but even though it was crowded, it wasn’t rowdy. 100% recommend

Hey guys once again I was so hungry I forgot the meal photos. Not sure if we were so hungry but the food was awesome. I had the Buritto with beans and rice. From the photo you know it was good. The wife had the Chicken Enchiladas with rice and charro beans. She too cleaned her plate. We will be visiting Stephenville more so we will be post more from there.
